CENLA July 31 Autocross

    Time: Sunday, July 31 8:00am - 4:00pm

    Location: Cabela's Pkwy Gonzales, LA 70737

    Come race, ride along, and spectate with the Central Louisiana Sports Car Club of America at our new event site! This event promises to be more spectator friendly than any previous event given that it will be held at the Cabella's in Gonzales and everyone will have access to the Cabella's facilities! It should also draw quite a crowd given it's high visibility and proximity to one of the biggest outdoor/recreational stores in the state of Louisiana!

    Come see what autocross is all about! First timers encouraged and welcome, and all makes and models of sports cars free to enter where they'll race in classes against other like vehicles! Visit our facebook event page for more information, sign up at www.dlbracing.com, or simply come out and enter the day of - just make sure to get out there before 9:30am (earlier is strongly encouraged).

    Autocross Schedule:
    -Setup:7:00 a.m.
    -8:00am-9:00AM: Registration and Tech
    -09:30AM Driver's Meeting
    -10:00AM: First Car Out

    Autocross Entry Fee:
    -SCCA Members: $25
    - Non-SCCA Members: $35
    - Spectators: free
    - Double entry additional $20 ( Available only to SCCA members )

    This is a non Delta event so the Camaro will make it's 3rd apperance for this year!

    Larry I took the camaro out 2x this year. These events are alittle further than i trust the Malibu to travel. In May i ran in CENLA region and June i ran in Gulf South Region. I will run the camaro 1 last time for this year at this event!

    yeah im just teasin ya, you know that....honestly, while watching the camaro break loose and smoking the tires would be cool.....watching you dog the hell out of the malibu and getting one tire in the air is even better and funny as hell to boot

    yah tripod mode is pretty fun but going really fast thats even more fun. to be honest i think my little v6 does pretty well at events. i have just enough torque to spin the tires but not too much to over power them. im going to be missing out again this month for gcr im thinking in febuary when delta runs at the water part trying to come and run out there.

    Here are the Result from CENLA'S Cabela's Event.

    The old Z finished 13 and 14 out of 70 Cars. I lost to Sanford by .007 of a sec! Now that's some crazy Stuff! Great Event but it was HOT HOT HOT before it rained.
