OK, so is it back on the 25th? I swear I saw a post saying it moved to the 26th. Plus how do I pre-register? Link on the site goes to a non-page.

yah there was a whole bunch of people who tried to register on the thread for last years event (i was one of them). there was no change just a little confusion on the site. you can register in the forum. its set up for guest to post as well. you will need to tell them your name scca class (esp stu ect) then region class( open tire"includes st,stu, stx", street tire, novice, and ladies) and if you an scca menber or not and your scca number and you car number.

Tim, Kevin Is there a HOOTER's near bye? We can bet that the looser buys buys 50 wings? We can use PAX times? Up to you guys. I may have a codriver with me if Sanford can't get the cobra or does not feel up to driving the cobra to the event.

Registered. Figured I would move to ESP. The only real thing putting me in CP was the engine swap, but the engine came out of a car that's in ESP as well.

you can stretch the up date back date rule for that one and really the proper class would be street mod for your car. yee if you run in stu you will be in open tire class if you run esp you will be in the street tire class just to let you know. we do recognize the budget racer in this region hence the reason for the street tire and open tire classes. over all winner will be determined by pax time. i can't wait to see you guys out there. oh and larry bellengraths gardens are about 20 minutes form sunny south so that would work out for you just go around 8 am then you can leave at 12 or 1 and be there early.

LOL....Ive been promising Al that I'd make it over to Delta to run mine with his crew....but everytime I plan on it....the bad karma fairy visits me a day or two prior. Now I'm dealing with a overheating issue. Im hoping that its just my imagination and maybe I just ran it a little low on coolant.

yah check that and maybe your thermostat. if your not over heating with the a/c on then you just have a bad relay. those are possible answers to your problem. really want you to come down and run. don't worrie the mx6 loves to do the same thing to me. and the camaro only when i try a mod or something like that. if i buy a part brand new then it won't do it but if it's used then yah it does not like it.

I'll have to check how my wife's camera works. As Larry and I found out the last time, it will only take hi-res video 30 seconds at a time... We got a bunch of video of me staging before we figured it out.

So you're asking whether I think you should go faster or provide me with a way film my runs. Seems obvious to me... ;)

Do the Alignment at .05 to 1 degree negative camber and 4 degrees positive caster. zero toe

well i got my sub frame connetcers in today im going to wait if i have time tomorrow to put them on. one question if i leave the car on the ground should i jack up the rear just slightly to undo the bolt for the lower control arm? i also found out tonight my battery tie down bracket is broken so im off to the junk yard to find one.

bolt in or weld in? I guess that doesn't really matter...

jack the rear of the car up on the center of the diff. support the axle with jack stands this will keep the rear suspension under preload. Then you can unbolt the front LCA bolt to install the subframe. If you are welding don't put the LCA back in or you will melt your bushing.

thanks yee i got them in just fine. hardest part was torquing the lca arm bolts. i actually just supported the car with a jack and did everything with the car on the ground. i also fixed my battery tie down i could not find one that was not broken in the junkyard so i had to get one of those universal tie down kits to keep the battery from flopping.

Now that youve got the SFC's in.....be prepared to start shaking loose every damn nut, bolt and washer throughout the car. LOL At least that seemed to be the case with my ride. I too ran into the battery hold down dilemma....thankfully, KevinD (shroom) had an extra good one that I was able to purchase.
