    well i already have a poly trans mount so i didn't notice too much shaking. i had to get a universal hold down kit to tie it down.

    I put in subframes on my 3rd gen after i bought it from by brother. but it was too late it may have stopped new rattles but the rattles that it had were still there.

    when i bought the 97 i put them in a month after i bought the camaro. That was my actual 1st mod. I drove all the way to MTI motorsports in Houston back then. I don't think thunder racing was open yet. Mine are Hotchkiss welded ones. bolts will work their way loose in my opinion.

    well i really do not have the equipment to weld the sub frame connectors on and for the v6 i think bolt on should be fine. i know they can work loose over time but then will all the other bolts on the car as well. plus an hour per side with a single floor jack and the car on the ground is really not that bad.

    Hope you guys had fun. I wound up leaving to Ruleville, MS Tuesday night and worked three 12+ hours days trying to get a hostipal job finished up. Wound up getting home about midnight last night. Absolutely no time or energy to go today.

    There's a night event in July right?

    yes there is another event in july but im not going. my oldest brother is getting married that weekend and i need to be there. i wounder if there is any autocross in montgomery that weekend.=D yee it was great meeting you as well. your a great guy and i appreciate all the pointers i got from you. i still can't believe that one cone i nicked the bottom on fell down that was an awesome run. also your z28 had much more mechanical grip it felt to me. i really need to get a set of koni to go on the car that and a lsd but the torque arm relocation and the sub frame connectors really helped to make the car more consistant and more predictable, so all in all i made some major improvements to the car. also i was trying to find you for the fun runs i was wanting to see what you could do in my car just to see how well i driving the car. im still getting better just trying to get smoother while on the edge.

    I thought Al was a pretty good driver, but then what do I know, right? lol I gotta say though, I was impressed with his madskills the first time I rode the Delta course with him. Going thru a tight corner haulin ass, the man let go of the steering wheel with both hands, pointed to the corner workers also with both hands, then STILL made the corner without hitting any cones or people. LOL (the cones weren't that lucky the next time he tried it, lmao). I have to admit, riding along on a course like that, and not being in control is both scary as hell and a buttload of fun all at the same time.

    It would have been nice if you could have road with me. I'm not as smooth as sanford. but that's something i still have to work on actually been working on that for years lol... Yeah i should have let you take a couple of passes in my car too. I was getting hungry and wasn't looking forward to the 2 hr drive back home so I packed up and we went looking for a resturant. I think you will do better with a good set of sticky street tires. That way you don't have to swap tires before and after an event.

    Did they post up the times yet?

    no not yet. i agree im wanting some star specs but i don't think ill be able to get some until i move out of my parents house. until then im just making use of the grip that i do have. just trying to get my set up right for once i do get the stickey tires.

    Thanks Larry, my goal for this year is this;

    "You don't need a fast car to autocross."
    "If you can't go fast... then you might aw well have fun doing it!"

    ill be the first to admit when i drive the mx6 i don't feel fast at all but driving the camaro is where i have alot of fun and excitement. some cars do suite different people better. i remember the last time i drove the audi i beat my older brother by 2 seconds and before this last event that was the last time i was super excited and felt really fast my self.

    finished 12 out of 26. The only car i wanted to beat was that C6 Vette and I did by 0.339 secs. I wish i didn't switch directions at the first turn around on runs 5 & 6. I think i could have cut a 43 sec time... on run 8 i missed up and went the oppisite direction but still cut a 44 sec time. After seeing my pics and sanfords pics of my car i think i could have added 2 lbs of air in the tires. I can see the tire rolling in the pics.
